Situated in the heart of the New Forest, Britain's new National Park, Acres Down House is the ideal location for those looking to get away from it all, and experience the English countryside at it's best. Miles of forest trails leading directly from the front gate make this the perfect base for walkers and cyclists to explore the surrounding area and it's wildlife. Horse riding and bike hire available nearby. Every room has stunning forest and garden views.

Lyndhurst, approx. 2 1/2 miles, for shops, pubs and restaurants, or sample Annie's delicious cream teas at the farm next door. Two local pubs 1 mile.

By car - turn off A31 towards Emerydown. Travel to first cross roads. Turn right (sign posted Acres Down) continue down the lane through the ford and continue round to the right where you will see Acres Down House.

From the A35 turn at Swan Pub towards Emery Down, continue through the village into open country until crossroads turn left continue round to the right where you will see Acres Down House.

By Train - nearest stations are Brockenhurst or Ashurst. There are no local buses so you would need to get a taxi.

Airports - Bournemouth approximately 45 minutes or Southampton approximately 30 minutes.
