Calshot Activities Centre
Calshot Activities Centre boasts plenty of indoor fun. With an indoor climbing wall, indoor ski centre and velodrome.
If you’ve ever wanted to give skiing or snowboarding a try, learn some new skills on their dry ski slope. Or, have a great time sliding down the slope on a ringo session.
Book onto some winter sports or velodrome taster sessions or, for those of you who are more seasoned at these activities, recreational sessions are also available.

Want to up your cooking style? Whether it’s trying out new cuisines or perfecting the art of some of the more traditional dishes such as Christmas dinner, our New Forest cookery schools will have the answer.
Look at sessions being run at The Kitchen Cookery School at the luxury Chewton Glen Hotel. Here, the cookery school is overseen by Chef Tutor, Gerard Molloy but you may also find some of the classes are run by celebrity chef, James Martin.

From live performances to hands-on workshops. The New Forest’s arts scene is strong. Where better to explore it than at one of our arts centres? Hanger Farm Arts Centre has a detailed programme where theatre, performing arts, exhibitions and children’s events all form part of their schedule. The perfect way to spend some time indoors with events taking place throughout the year.

Who can resist a spot of pampering at some of the New Forest’s spa hotels? Breathe in the relaxing scents in the steam rooms, warm up in the saunas and take soothing dips in the pools.
